The African American Student Association

The African-American Student Association (AASA) was established in 1968 to cultivate and promote a general knowledge of African-American culture and society on the University of South Alabama campus, and today there are over 100 members. AASA serves as an unifying force for African American students, faculty and staff, and as the representative for African-American students at USA, dealing in all issues.
