This is my sister, Kendra and her husband, Dirk,
and their children, Laila, and Nick.
This is my baby sister, Scarlette, her other half, Jamie,
and their children, Bethany and Amber.
My sisters and I are very close. We have a great relationship
with each other. Each of us is completely different in every way, just like my girls.
Kendra is the sweet one, the peace maker. Scarlette is the hard-headed one, the one that
stirs things up. And I'm in between, I tell it like is in a nice, factual way
as to not get a hostile reaction from people.
Kendra has been a great help to me since I have gone back to college.
She keeps Maggy for me on Wednesdays and lets Emily and Libby stay at
her house after school until Brian gets off work and can pick them up.
She also keeps another little girl and boy Monday through Thursday.
She has nerves of steel.
Scarlette has turned out to be a great mother, who knew!! I'm very proud
of her. She still has her unique personality, but she has refined the edges as
she has grown up. Even though we live about thirty miles apart, if we needed each,
all it would take is a phone call and either of us would be on the way.
This is my sister-in-law, Jessica, my mother-in-law, Winnie, and me.
I put this picture on this page because Jessica is just like my sister too.
Brian and I started dating when Jessica was four years old. She is the only girl
of three children. She was always friends with my little sister, Scarlette.
She went to nursing school at USA and is now a nurse at Providence Hospital
in labor and delivery. She is engaged to Ryan. He is from New Orleans. They are
going to get married in March of 2007. He is going to move to Mobile and finish
his nursing degree at USA. They will probably move to New Orleans afterwards.
This is a picture of Scarlette and me at a women's retreat last February.
This is my mom, Martha, Kendra, and Scarlette.
