Paw-Paw and Nana
These are my parents, Wayne and Martha Courtney. My daddy is a truck driver and is away
from home working most of the week. My mom keeps Maggy for me to go to class on Mondays.
She keeps herself busy with projects throughout the week. They go out to eat and spend time
together when daddy is home on the weekend.
Nana, as the girls call her, is a planner. She likes to plan all of our family gatherings
and make all of us our list of things to do. We never have to wonder about what the plan
is, she keeps us all lined out. Emily is a planner too. I guess she got this gene from Nana.
Paw-paw likes to play with the grandchildren. The louder, the better, and it drives Nana
crazy. The girls love it, of course. He always brings them something when he comes home.
Well, he always brings me something too. He is the sweetest, most good-hearted person I
have ever known. Everybody loves him.

They were married in the court house in Linden, AL.
