Growing up I never saw myself as the girl who was attached to a male figure. I always pittied and mocked that girl
who could not take one step without her beau by her side. Well...for the past 19 months...I have been that girl. Sick right?
I know. However, I truly believe my situation is different from the other unstable women in the world. I have known
John Michael Faggard since the first day of fifth grade. For the next eight years John Michael and I went to school together.
And Ah yes, he was the best friend. He was always there for me and I always loved him in that platonic way. We started South
together in the Fall of 2004 and slowly drifted apart. By the middle of our second year we were close as could be again
and I was falling for my best friend all of a sudden. We started dating February 2005 and have been together since.
Yes, there have been bumps in the road, but...I can see us making it. Afterall, he is my best friend.
