Iwo Jima

The statue of Iwo Jima is a surprise to many because of its size. It is located just outside of Arlington National Cemetary. The 32 foot high figures are erecting a 60 foot bronze flagpole . In a Proclamation of June 21, 1961 in required the cloth flag to fly 24 hours a day.
