The National World War II Memorial is a national memorial to Americans who served and died in World War II. It is located at the eastern end of the Reflecting Pool between the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. It is the most recent of the monuments to be built and was opened on April 29, 2004 and dedicated by President George W. Bush.
