Arizona: Tucson
My dad has been working abroad for the past couple years. He spent a lot of time in Alaska and some time in the South Pacific. He was in Tucson, Arizona for a few months, and I got the opportunity to go out there and visit him. I only spent a weekend there, but it was a lot of fun. Most people would think of Tucson as being a little town in the middle of the desert. But, it was pretty cool. It is a big city surrounded by the mountains. It is in the desert, but the landscape is beautiful with cacti and even some palm trees. It's a cool place to see.
