I begin working for nextel on May1,06.Nextel is known for their walkie-talkie phones A.K.A. chirp lines.All of our phones are GPS enabled and very durable. From the very beginning our logo was popular. Some Nascar cars have it painted on the sides of their cars and stiched on their jackets.For the past couple of years Nextel name has been advertised in many rap songs, which has actually helped promote the company. Sprint and nextel has finally merged, so we do have more towers now. My co-workers are Alan Singleton, Timothy Heath, and Beth Waters. We all consider each other family and we work together as a team. I've been part of the celluar business for two years now. Prior to working at nextel, I worked with Alltell. A little advice for students who want to work and attend school; you must be focused, determined, mature, and willing to sacrafice your free time. Attending college and working are both diffucult taks. I do not recommend freshmen working and going to school, because your freshman year you are trying to develop your study habits and you are finding yourself.
