Ireland's landscape is rich with misty bogs, green pasture, craggy mountains, clean white-sand beaches, valleys, rivers, and lakes. Irish pubs offer a combination of creamy pints of stout, lively local characters, wonderful music, dance, and good fun. When I think about going to Ireland, I envision myself in a local pub having a beer and hanging out with the locals. I might even join in an old irish song if asked. I would also visit as many old castles as possible. I love to see how people from long ago lived and what better way than to see where they slept and ate.
