Travelers to Tuscany visit for many reasons. Some go for the cuisine and wine. Others go for the beautiful countryside and rolling hills. And there are those who go for the sea coasts and islands. Some of the world's best red wine comes from this region. Vineyards dot the countryside and there are many to choose from for a tour. A visit to Pisa not only produces the leaning tower, but unique Roman ruins as well. Great shopping can be had at any of several outdoor flea markets in Tuscany. My trip to Tuscany would include a couple of vineyard tours, sampling as much wine as possible. I'd also like to visit the coast and spend the day on an Italian beach. Another must is visiting an old farmhouse and seeing how simple and uncomplicated life was in the past.
