Besides the many Girl Scout activities such as earning patches and community service, girls also participate in volunteer services. This year's volunteer project was visiting a nursing home. During Christmas time, my troop brought candy canes to the local residents and wished them a Merry Christmas. In the picture, the girls just finished singing some christmas carols to the residents, and they stopped to take a picture. |
