Every other Thursday, my troop meets for an hour. During our meeting, we have circle time where we discuss upcoming activities, we do a craft, and we work on one of our patches. Sometimes we play games or sing songs. We have even taken field trips during our meeting times! One of our field trips involved going to the fire department. The firemen showed us their gear, the fire truck, and talked to us about safety. That was a lot of fun. The above picture is our Brownie uniform. We wear it to any Girl Scout function we go to as well as our meetings. The uniform has our troop numbers, what council we are apart of, and the different patches that the Girl Scout has earned. It also has a pin that stands for Girl Scouts and one that is a "membership" pin. |
