My sister Shannon was the smart one of the family. She graduated top of her class and was rewarded a full paid scholarship to the University of Alabama. There she planned on getting her degree in nursing. During her sophomore year in college, when I was in seventh grade, she passed away. She has been gone for almost 9 years now. Not a day goes by when I don't run into things that remind me of her.
