She doesn't have a relationship with her father, because he left her and her mother when she was little. She is in a relationship with Derek Shepard. It was a very complicated relationship. He was married but had left his wife. Meredith found out about his marriage from his wife, Addison. Meredith Grey is played by Ellen Pompeo.
