This is Auntie Em. She is who Dorothy wants to get home to. After running away, Dorothy realizes how much she loves her aunt and wants to see her again. Dorothy thinks her aunt is sick and doesnt want to loose her. so she fights her hardest to get home to this lady who feeds her and takes care of her when she was sick.
