Angela was born August 16, 1958. She is an Emmy and Academy Award-nominated, and Golden Globe winning American actress who has built her career potraying some of the most significant real life women in American culture. Angela has starred in two of my favorite movies which are How Stella Got Her Groove Back and Whats Love Got to Do with It? In 2006, Angela was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for Akeelah and the Bee.
